End of the Year

So this is it. This is a year of work, jobs, AP concentration, and various assignments. It's been an absolute blast and I've learned a lot more about being a good designer and how to create the things I want to create. I still have a lot to learn, but this class has been a great experience.  It's been busy and it's been challenging and there have been many times where I've been working on several pieces at once or hurrying to get a job in on time, racing to get it done, trying to balance this in among everything else in my busy life, but it's all been worth it. I've gotten to see my work hanging on the walls of the school, being worn by both students and faculty around the hallways, and now I also get it to see it being painted on an entire wall in the music department. This class has been an excellent experience, and if you're an incoming senior designer, you're in for a great year. Manage your time well and learn not to get too easily frustrated. Keep working and you'll get there eventually, and try to have fun along the way. If you're looking through my work, enjoy. Thanks for paying attention.

It's May!

Alright, it's AP crunch time and I'm cranking out the last bit of concentration work, so that will be going up any moment. Importance of Being Earnest work is finished and in the CG Jobs tab.

Before Break Update

So Spring Break is almost here, but just a little update. I just finished the mural for the CG Music Department, so that can be found under the CG Jobs tab. In addition to working on my AP portfolio and work for my concentration, I'm beginning work on promotion for CG Drama's production of The Importance of Being Earnest.

Update and Stuff

Hey, so it's been a while, but here's some words again. I've been busy lately working on stuff like masthead designs for The Trojan Times, logos for The University, and a mural for the CG music department. Mastheads can be found under the CG Jobs tab and the mural and logos under the In Progress tab. I've put up both the current design and a render of it on the wall. I'm still messing with it to try to find the best placement, taking into account both balance and readability in terms of viewing angles. Check it out.

Hey There's Stuff Here Now

Breadth portfolio is up, concentration work is up, CG jobs are up, goals and reflection are up. I think I'm getting the hang of this whole blog thing. Maybe.

Right now I'm getting ready to work on designs for the new masthead for the Trojan Times as well as more work on my concentration.

Alright, so I'm actually putting stuff up here now, so there will be new posts this week as I finally get used to this blog thing. Stay tuned I guess, or in the meantime check out the CG Jobs and In Progress pages.

Update

Alright, so I haven't really posted much on here yet, so here I go. Last week I was busy with Fiddler promotion and the Love Letters poster, along with the tombstones for Fiddler. I've wrapped all that up, so now I am working on my breadth portfolio and getting my old work together along with my new stuff. Soon I'm also going to get started on work for the spring play as well a shirt for makeup crew for Fiddler.
